WEST FORK, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — July 29, 2025 — The Arkansas State Police are continuing to investigate a double homicide at a Northwest Arkansas state park, as a new sketch of the possible suspect is released.
Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, recently relocated to Prairie Grove from another state. The couple was hiking with their children at Devil’s Den State Park in West Fork, Arkansas, when authorities reported that they were attacked.
On Saturday, around 2:40 p.m., the Arkansas State Police (ASP) received a report of a double homicide at a park in Washington County. Both were found dead on a walking trail.
Investigators believe that the suspect responsible for the deaths likely sustained an injury during the attack on the couple.
On Monday, July 28, 2025, the Brink family released a statement requesting privacy as they grieve.
“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult time as they grieve and learn how to navigate this new reality. They ask that if anyone has any information at all that will help the investigation, to please contact the proper authorities immediately. Clinton and Cristen died heroes, protecting their little girls and they deserve justice. They will forever live on in all of our hearts.”
Investigators are urging anyone who visited the park on Saturday to review their cellphone photos and videos, as well as GoPro footage, for any images of the suspect. Additionally, they are requesting residents of the surrounding area to notify ASP if they have access to security and game camera footage.
The suspect, initially reported as wearing a tank top, was actually described as wearing a long-sleeved shirt with rolled-up sleeves. He is an unidentified white male with a medium build. The suspect was observed driving a black, four-door sedan toward the park’s exit. He was dressed in dark pants, a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a black backpack, and fingerless gloves. The suspect’s vehicle might be a Mazda with a license plate obscured by electrical or duct tape. It’s possible that the vehicle was traveling on State Highway 170 or State Highway 220 near the park.
On Monday, ASP released a sketch of the suspect. Then, on Wednesday, another image was released.

If you have any information about the suspect or his whereabouts, please contact ASP Troop L at (479) 751-6663, Extension 2, or call 911. ASP has received numerous calls from the public with potential tips. If you need to leave a voicemail, calls will be returned as soon as possible.
