Jonesboro Public Library to change hours pending repairs

JONESBORO, AR  — (BrooklandNews.com) — July 8, 2025 — The Jonesboro Public Library will adjust its hours pending heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs.

In a social media post, the library stated that its hours will adjust to Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and be closed on the weekends. The change began on Saturday, July 5.

The post says the adjustments are “due to ongoing HVAC issues and supply chain delays.” Hours will return to normal “as soon as AC is fully restored.”
