PARAGOULD, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — May 20, 2024 — The Paragould Police Department arrested a man following reports of intentional property damage.

On May 18, 2025, officers were dispatched to multiple addresses between Kennedy Street and Ada Street in response to property damage. Reports included vandalized mailboxes, electrical boxes, and road signs. Officers reviewed security footage from several locations, which showed a black, early-to-mid 2000s model Chevrolet Silverado allegedly damaging property, according to court documents.

The vehicle, believed to be involved, was located on Ava Lane with parts of a mailbox still attached to its front. Officers then made contact with a man identified as Elijah Conner and noted an “odor of intoxicants.” Conner was arrested without incident.

He was booked into the Greene County Jail on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief for allegedly causing between $1,000 and $5,000 in damages.

Judge Dan Stidham set bail at $10,000 in any form and ordered Conner to wear an ankle monitor and have no contact with the victims. According to the Greene County Jail roster, Conner has since posted bail.
