Craighead County, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — Apr. 14, 2025 — Governor of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee-Sanders signed an order on Friday to provide aid to Arkansas storm victims.
Following several tornados and major flooding, Governor Sanders signed an executive order that would “authorize the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration to grant a reasonable extension of time to file any return required under any state tax law upon written request for good cause shown.”
The order also allowed the governor to suspend regulations that would slow recovery and make it a priority.
The executive order by Gov. Sanders applies to over 60 Arkansas counties– including Craighead County –affected by the severe weather.
