Brookland, AR – (BrooklandNews.com) – Feb. 18, 2025 – Several vehicle break-ins have been reported in Brookland.

Few break-ins have happened, but authorities are warning car owners to keep valuables out of their vehicles and remember to lock them.

NEA Report spoke with Detective Dustin Norwood of the Brookland Police Department. “We’re a safe city but things do happen,” Detective Norwood said.

“We’ll do the best we can to thwart that problem but in the meantime, it’s important to take measures on your own to protect your valuables,” he said.

A break-in occurred overnight on Feb. 17 in the 100 block of Hayes Street, while another occurred overnight on Feb. 16 in the 300 block of Shirley Drive.
