Milwaukee, WI– The Republican National Convention is underway as they look to pick Donald Trump as their nominee, while the attempted assassination of Trump looms.

As many people are expected to speak on what the Republican Party wants to do if they win the executive and legislative branch of government, the topic of the attempted assassination of the assumed republican nominee is to be mentioned.

Over the weekend, many are said to have tweaked their speeches to mention the incident that occurred when 20 year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on a Butler County, Pennsylvanian Trump Rally.

The gunfire hitting Former President Trump and piercing the upper part of his right ear, killing a crowd member and injuring two other who are said to be in critical condition, while Trump is said to be OK.

President Biden and other elected officials on the national level condemning the violence on a political figure. While Biden is also calling for a political “cool-down” as tension and division appears clearer as the General Election in America nears.

Donald Trump posting on his social media platform, Truth Social that he was going to delay his trip to Milwaukee by two days, but wasn’t going to “allow a ‘shooter,’ or potential assassin, to force change to scheduling, or anything else.”

Trump expected to announce his Vice Presidential pick, in his first speech since the attack. Trump’s running mate will give a speech on Wednesday. (7/17/2024)
