Miami, FL– Former President Donald Trump, Walt Nauta, and Carlos De Oliveira have all been indicted, for Trump this is his second time being indicted.

Nearly 3 months after the announcement by Trump that he had been indicted for the second time on 37 charges having to do with classified documents found at his Florida Mar-a-lago home, Carlos De Oliveira has been added as the second ‘co-conspirator’ with Walt Nauta.

On Tuesday (June 13, 2023) the former president appeared in a federal court in Miami, Florida pleading not guilty to 37 felony counts.

All of those counts stem from a search at Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago home in August of 2022, where authorities found hundreds of documents.

The search of his home came after Trump was asked by the National Archives to turn in any documents he had.

According to the indictment, Trump said to an attorney “wouldn’t it be better if we told them we don’t have anything here?”

That’s when the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) got involved, and the same story of “we don’t have anything,” continued.

Which led to the search of Mar-a-Lago, where they found documents ranging from classified to top secret.

The indictment says those documents ranged from foreign intelligence sources information, to U. S. military capabilities.

Special Council Jack Smith, whom is taking on this case has been hated by Trump since the beggining of this investigation. The former president saying things about Special Council Smith on a very personal level.

While Jack Smith has stayed very quiet, and very few leaks have come out of the Special Council.

Those 38 Counts:

  • 1-31: Willful Retention of National Defense Information
  • 32: Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice
  • 33: Withholding a Document or Record
  • 34: Corruptly Concealing a Document or Record
  • 35: Concealing a Document in a Federal Investigation
  • 36: Scheme to Conceal
  • 37: False Statements and Representatives
  • 38: Attempting to Delete Camera Footage

While Trump plead not guilty to those charges one of his close aides, Walt Nauta is also being indicted on 1 felony count, as the “co-conspirator.”

Nauta pleaded not guilty In July, as when he appeared in court with Trump, he didn’t have an attorney.

Trump and Nauta have been ordered to not speak to each other.

Nauta was seen in court documents talking to Trump about moving boxes, that held classified documents.

All of this is playing a game on the presidential bids, as some candidates are saying they would use the pardon power to pardon Trump.

Adding, some of Trumps court dates may play in to him on the campaign trail.

Fmr. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R) said “It [Presidents using pardon power on Trump] is wrong, it is unjustified, it is a bad president. Their politically pandering to get votes, using the federal pardon power. So, no it incenses me as somebody who’s had to use the pardon power, as governor, and respects that power as president and you don’t use it as a campaign wedge issues or a campaign tool. So I’m offended by that from someone who loves our justice system in America,” in a ABC News interview.
