BROOKLAND, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — Mar. 3, 2026 — Voters declined a proposed 3.95 millage increase for Brookland Public Schools.
Election results — that have not been fully confirmed — said 693 voters cast a ballot for the increase while 1,257 voted against.
The mileage increase, if passed, would have funded a new cafeteria that would turn into a safe room overnight, and a new athletic facility.
