BROOKLAND, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — Jan. 28, 2026 — In Brookland on Friday, a crash resulted in the death of an Imboden woman and injuries to two minors.
According to a crash report from the Arkansas State Police, a 2009 Ford was traveling on Highway 49 when it crossed the center lane and struck a 2018 Chevrolet traveling Southbound.
Becky Anderson, 53, of Imboden, was killed, and the two minors who were traveling with Anderson were left injured and transported to NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Both vehicles were left resting in a ditch following the collision. It occurred on Highway 49 near Honeysuckle in Brookland.
The driver of the Ford was not listed in the crash report.
