JONESBORO, AR — (BrooklandNews.com) — May 28, 2025 — The Skirmish Jonesboro announced that it will hold a family-friendly slow roll.

The free event will be a 4-mile bike course, occurring on Saturday, May 31, through Jonesboro. It will begin at 320 S. Main Street and continue to the Arkansas State University campus, where an aid station will be staged nearly halfway through the ride.

That aid station will have light refreshments and a place to rest momentarily.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m., but riders are encouraged to be at the starting location at 9:15 a.m. Parking can be found at the intersection of Church Street and Cate Street in downtown Jonesboro, according to The Skirmish’s website.

The Skirmish says this is not a race, and riders are encouraged to bike at their own pace.

Main Street from Washington Ave. to Huntington Ave. will be closed from Friday at 7 a.m. to Saturday at 6 p.m. for this event and others held by Skirmish, according to a post by the City of Jonesboro.
