Brookland, AR – (BrooklandNews.com) – Apr. 6, 2025 – Days of continuous rain is leaving many Brookland streets under water.
The Brookland Fire Department is warning drivers to stay off of multiple roads. In a Facebook post, the department listed nearly two dozen roads in Craighead county that are closed.

BFD advised that those roads are either partially or fully closed, and to “use extreme caution, especially at night due to low visibility.”
Brookland has received over six inches of rain, according to radar estimates. As the Brookland Fire Department tells drivers to “turn around, don’t drown.”
