Washington — President Donald Trump ordered precision military air strikes on Somalia early Sunday.
Trump, on X, said: “This morning I ordered precision Military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia.”
He says the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and terrorists were found hiding in caves, and were killed. “Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done,” Trump said in a post on X.
President Trump also said that the U.S. has a message to all involved in ISIS and “all others that attack America,” and that is “WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!”
ISIS stands for the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant,” and according to the Department of National Intelligence the group “has conducted and inspired terrorist attacks worldwide, resulting in thousands killed or injured.” The DNI also says they have nearly 8,000-16,000 members in Iraq and Syria.
Trump’s post on X did not detail the number of casualties or any other direct information into the attack.
