Bono, AR– The Air Force will land there C-130 on Highway 63 in Bono, in preparation for earthquake emergencies.

The landing is being conducted because if there were to a be a catastrophic earthquake on the New Madrid Fault and a large part of Arkansas could be without needed supplies to live.

So, in preparation for the possibility for an event like that – The Air Force will land there C- 130 plane.

The C-130 will land and take- off multiple times. This all will occur on August 3rd or 4th, weather permitting.

As expected, traffic going towards the make-shift airport is expected to be diverted by both local and county law enforcement.
