Brookland, AR– Brookland Public Schools looks to build new school as growth and traffic becomes a large problem.
The new intermittent school will be located on Dixie Road after the Woods Chapel Baptist Church. The building will be 85,000 square feet, two stories and hold third and fourth graders.
Brett Bunch, Brookland Public Schools Superintendent says that comes as growth continues. Also saying, that BPS has been a school district that has kept the teacher to student ratio at a lower level, and he would like to continue that.
The area annexed months back into the City of Brookland, as the school district expands to lower traffic problems.
The district is expecting to have the school fully built by the 2026-27 school year.
