Brookland, AR- A downed power line has caused traffic to come to a stop on all of Bernis St., in Brookland.
If your traveling on Bernis hoping to turn on Smith St. from Bernis St. expect to be detoured.
A power line fell overnight, putting a hold on traffic near the area.
The Brookland Police Dept. is blocking multiple parts of Bernis St., to keep almost all vehicles off that road.
Brookland Public schools has blocked traffic and is making all vehicles turn on school Street instead of going straight to Bernis St.
They have changed School St. to a two way road from a regular one way in the morning and afternoons.
One resident told Brookland News this is a “traffic nightmare.”
