Brookland, AR- If your wondering when the two Brookland Parks will be built, it’s unknown.

The word standstill often used as no bids have been received on the two projects, after two rounds of accepting them.

A park would be placed at the intersection of Bernis Street and Smith Street. Another across the tracks at E. Mathews and Nelms Street.

No work has been done at either of the parks as no construction company is wanting to build the two parks.

The Parks Committee made a decision to split the build in to packages, and now David Loggins, Chairperson of Brookland Parks Committee told the city council he thinks it’s not enough work.

Trees were taken down on the Bernis Park, but that’s said to be unrelated.
