Brookland, AR- A program Brookland citizens used to dispose their recycled products with end at the end of June.
Rather it was plastic or glass bottles, Brookland Citizens were able to receive a blue bag and dump recyclable products in a trailer at city hall, that’s now coming to an end.
A note posted on the trailer states “Effective June 30, 2023 the City of Brookland will be ending the bluebag program and this trailer will NO longer be available.” Continuing to say, “ due to increasing expenses and lack of personnel, it is no longer feasible to continue the program.”
A program citizens once loved, now being trashed.
