Jonesboro, AR- Orkin Pest Control and the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society are partnering to keep your pets safe from mosquito born illnesses.
Stephanie Jones with Orkin Pest Control says this is the 3rd year of this event, and that since last year they’ve wanted to do more.
This is a fundraiser to help keep animals safe from mosquito-borne illnesses like heartworms and parasitic, viral, and bacterial infections.
An event will be held at the Kroger on Highland on Friday, May 26, 2023.
NEAHS Program Director, Heather Starnes says she is thrilled for the event.
Jones says they get a “grocery-list” from the humane society and then they hand it out to shoppers, hoping they’ll get items the NEAHS needs.
