Brookland, AR- With a new primary school opening at Brookland Public Schools traffic is only expected to get worse.
Brett Bunch, Brookland Public Schools Superintendent said the biggest challenge they face is the “over abundance of traffic,” and that they “realize that.”
The solution school authorities came up with, was to make the north end of Hickory St. from the Y, were Bearcat Way parts from Hickory, from 7:15am-8:00 am and 2:45pm – 3:30pm during school, a one way.
Parents will be reminded multiple times of the change, as it will take effect for the 2023-2024 school year.
