Brookland, AR — A Brookland pastor is doing “the work of God” after donating supplies to a church in Tennessee to assist with those affected by Hurricane Helene.
Craig Ponder, pastor at the New Salem Baptist Church in Limeston, TN is calling a Brookland pastors donation a “work of God,” in a new Facebook post. The donations comes after the remlinse of Hurricane Heline led to major flooding in parts of Tennessee.

The pastor from Brookland donated a 25 foot-trailer of items for the victims.
Ponder said before the trailer had arrived they had been “putting together a wish list for a sister church, Cowboy Church — Crossroads Cowboy Church out in Greenville, had a list they put online.. list by list. So then as we started unloading this stuff we began to notice that the stuff that was on that Cowboy Church list was the stuff coming off the trailer.”
Pastor Ponder asked those watching the video to “testify to how good God is being,” and went on to call the pastors work “providing the need before we even know what the need is, that’s the way it works.”
Pastor Craig Ponder has shared video on his Facebook Page during the entirety of the storm and beyond as Tennessee recovers.
