Brookland, AR — The rain did not stop Citizens of Brookland from watching the 1.1 million pound steam train roar through Brookland.
Citizens across northeast Arkansas lined railways on Friday afternoon to watch the one-of-its-kind Big Boy No. 4014, a steam locomotive, which departed for the “Heartland of America Tour” on Wednesday.
The tour began in Wyoming and the train went to Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri — all before making its way to Brookland.
Many took to social media as they captured the moment.

After scheduled maintenance in Downtown Jonesboro the train will travel to Little Rock, AR and a number of different places.
