Jonesboro, AR– Northeast Arkansas Progress to hold fourth annual Pride Festival in Jonesboro.

The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and go until 11 p. m. CT on Main St. in Downtown Jonesboro.

The event did move streets, from Church St. to Main St. in Downtown Jonesboro as NEA Progress expects thousands to show up.

With that move, Main St. between Huntington and Cate Ave. will be closed, expect traffic delays with that for those travelling around the event.

Chris Oswalt, NEA Progress Executive Director and Board President told Brookland News that the Pride Festival is not the only event being held and that there is also events throughout the week. (6/3/24-6/7/24)

Bowling is being held on Wednesday, the 5th and events will continue throughout the week even after Pride Fest, which you can find on NEA Progress’ Facebook Page.

After Saturday, when the Pride Festival is held there will be a Brunch on Sunday that’s already sold out.

Chris Oswalt also told Brookland News that not everyone’s experience of coming out as apart of the LGBTQIA+ community is the same and to know that you are loved.
