Brookland, AR– Across night skies on Wednesday a Super Blue Moon could be seen.
According to NASA, a Blue Moon occurs when dust and different air particles fill the air, leaving behind a Moon that looks blue.
Blue Moons are only seen every 1-2 decades.
We experienced a Super Blue Moon, which means the Moon is full, which is what a super moon means. If one month sees two full moons, the second is called a blue moon, making two supermoons in one month a “super blue moon.”
The next Blue Moon is expected to occur in 2037.
