Washington D. C., USA– On Tuesday, Former President Donald Trump released a statement to his social media platform, Truth Social, saying he had received a letter, stating he was a target of another DOJ investigation.
The investigation is into what happened at the U. S. Capitol on Jan. 6 2021.

The statement was sent on a Sunday night, according to the release. Trump seemed flustered regarding that, in the letter.
The statement said “deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and indictment.”
This makes Trump’s 3rd indictment, if he was indicted.
From a legal standpoint, a target letter means the DOJ is wrapping up their case and is ready to present to the Special Council. Which means we could see an indictment if that’s what the DOJ wants as soon as two weeks from now.
The Former President is also under investigation in Fulton county, Georgia for election fraud. As an audio tape that he demands votes in.
This case is out of Washington D. C, USA, adding to the different places his cases are out of.
While some are wondering how much of a scheduling issue there will be if he were to become president with the amount of cases he has against him.
Trump has requested delay’s until after the 2024 election.
Asa Hutchinson has released a statement saying “”I have said from the beginning that Donald Trump’s actions on January 6 should disqualify him from ever being President again.” continuing on to say, “anyone who truly loves this country and is willing to put the country over themselves would suspend their campaign for President of the United States immediately. It is disappointing that Donald Trump refuses to do so.”
