Jonesboro, AR- A police officer is out of a job after finding himself on the wrong side of the law.
Arkansas State Police arrested Former Jonesboro Police Officer Steven Lee Bryant Williams, 25, on Friday, May 26, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and careless and prohibited operation.
KAIT-TV reports Williams was terminated.
William’s trial is set for Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 9 a.m. in the Jonesboro District Court.
He just joined the police department in January, after a social media post stated Williams and others had graduated from the Black River Technical College Law Enforcement Training Academy’s Course 23-A.
