Craighead County, AR- A 60 year-old inmate dies while in custody at the Craighead County Jail.
60-year-old Timothy Wade Williams died after having a medical emergency, on Wednesday.

According to an incident report, Williams resisted arrest after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2600 block of Red Wolf Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. Friday, May 12.
Upon police arriving Timothy Wade Williams in his car, would not get out. Police continued to try and get him out of the vehicle, Williams continuing to resist arrest.
The report stated, once Williams was handcuffed he became “ever more aggravated.”
Then, Williams placed on the ground by officers, again continuing to resist arrest.
Williams was checked out by EMS, soon after police were able to get him handcuffed.
Williams was charged with resisting arrest, public intoxication, and obstruction of governmental Justice, disorderly conduct.
Public Records show he was arrested early Friday, and dead by Wednesday.
On Wednesday Williams was taken to a local hospital, soon after deputies were alerted to him having a medical emergency.
The Craighead County Sheriff’s department is investigating this situation.
