Bentonville, AR- The former Arkansas Governor announced Sunday that he will be running for President in 2024.
“I have made a decision, and my decision is I’m going to run for president of the United States,” Hutchinson said.
The former governor said that after traveling all over the country let him know that hard work was needed.
“I’m convinced that people want leaders that appeal to the best of America, and not simply appeal to our worst instincts,” Hutchinson, 72, said in an interview on ABC News that aired Sunday.
During the interview Hutchinson said that Former President Donald Trump should drop out of the race ahead of his indictment.
On Hutchinson’s last day of office as Governor of Arkansas traveled to Iowa as he ramped up visitors about early voting.
There has been a rumor around since Hutchinson left office regarding him running for office.
The former governors formal announcement will be in Bentonville, AR on April 26, 2023.
