Brookland, AR- The City of Brookland has seen a rise of litter and trash on the side of the roads.
Most of the trash is noticed to be from area reastraunts.
You are urged to clean up and don’t throw your trash on the side of the road.
The City of Brookland does offer weekly curbside bluebag pickup for city residents. Bluebags are available at Brookland City Hall.
The City of Brookland awards $25 weekly to one recycling participant. Place tag with name and address on bluebag to be entered in the drawing each week.
If you live in the county you can bring you bluebag to the City Hall buiding each week.
The City of Brookland hopes to resume their partnership with Keep Arkansas Beautiful, as they have helped clean the city many times.
The Mayor told me that Brookland High School’s East Lab was also a big help before the COVID- 19 Pandemic shut that down.
